Welcome to

Lacock Positive Photography Club

About Us

We are a friendly, supportive club welcoming photographers with a wide range of experiences including those who are new to photography through to experienced photographers.

Our club members shoot using a range of cameras including DSLR, Mirrorless and mobile phones.

Set up in 2009, we are a non-competitive club that prides itself on supporting and encouraging each other in many areas of photography. The support provided includes technical talks on different aspects of photography as well as informal critique of images entered into club challenges. The interests of our members are varied and cover different genres of photography including wildlife, landscape, macro, sport, street and creative photography such as ICM.

We encourage all members to submit photographs into our fortnightly and monthly challenges with the primary aim of inspiring and motivating each other to take photographs, whilst embracing that passion for photography that all our members have.

Please Note: This Website is still under construction and it likely to change on a regular basis, until we are happy with all the text and images.

When and where

The Club meets 7pm - 9pm fortnightly on Thursdays from September to June in the Manor Room, Lacock (behind the Village Hall) for a varied programme of activities. We also arrange outside shoots throughout the year.

In addition the Club holds an annual exhibition and manages its own Flickr, Facebook and YouTube sites.

The club currently stands at around 30 members.
