We actively encourage members to attend events and activities throughout the year. This includes taking part in our photo challenges, meeting club members for a photoshoot or taking part in a workshop.
The blog is aimed at giving you a summary of some of the activities and meetings that have taken place during the year within the club.
We don’t publish a blog for every meeting, but we aim to share with you, an insight into life in our club.

Club Meeting 24th September 2026
This meeting mainly comprised of reviewing the member organised events that took place during our summer break.
This was also our first “Bite Sized Review”, a 10 minute slot we added to our meetings, to enable us to have short discussions or reviews of products and technical matters.
Club Meeting 10th September 2026
Our first meeting after our summer break. The evening mainly comprised of a review of the summer challenge photographs, some updates for the club evenings going forward, and some advance notices for challenges set by speakers coming later this year.

Our last meeting of the season, we invited Bill Ward to give us a presentation.

We invited David Broadbent as an external speaker for our club meeting on 14th May 2026
Club Meeting 30th April 2026
We invited Nigel Hudson to the club as an external speaker, on 30th April 2026.
Club Meeting 16th April 2026
The Club met for its usual Thursday night meeting on 16th April. We had an external speaker, Kate Southall, followed by our “One Month, One Image” challenge for March. We finished with discussions about our upcoming Exhibition.
