Club Meeting in the Manor Room
Shay is an escapee from representative landscape photography. She now works in the weirder landscape of ICM, Multiple Exposure and creative post-processing. She'll show how her images have changed and talk about the techniques and thinking behind her current work. The second half of the evening will be an appreciation of your work meeting the challenge she's set.
The challenge is: Show me what you're seeing, not what you're looking at. Images don't have to be made using alternative techniques but why not give them a try? I'm about as far from a traditional camera club judge as can be, so my critiques will be positive and encouraging. For inspiration you could look at photographers like Ernst Haas, Bill Ward, Saul Leiter, Chris Friel, Andy Gray, Jocelyn Horsfall, Doug Chinnery or Valda Bailey.
